Talk to people you know already in the field, especially if they are still in law school or just finishing up (this is if you want their opinion on what law school is like NOW, their app process, their studying process, etc). For recs, I asked way in advance to make sure I wouldn’t have to worry about that come fall, hoping to apply Sep/Oct for all my apps. UPDATE: This didn’t happen bc i took the NOV lsat after tutoring for 2mos post-sep lsat. didn’t change my score much…. but applying Thanksgiving-Christmas now.

I ended up using the Loophole book for the majority of my LR studying, and I supplemented a bit with 7sage before and after using the Loophole. Diagnostic Jan 2025 no studying or awareness of LSAT prior- 153.

Applying far and wide just to see, I weigh heavily the geographical location and school connections due to my want to focus in entertainment & sports law.

I marked Vanderbilt as top choice, but SMU, Tulane, USD all up there. Dream would be admittance w money, manifesting that!
