I had an awful GPA due to a traumatic event that happened the beginning of my second year in school. Had to throughly explain that in my addendum. I had super strong softs in my opinion that saved me lol. I interned for my city’s courthouse, I started a nonprofit at 17 plus had so many volunteering hours outside of that. I had a Rec letter from a a very distinguished person too but their focus wasn’t in law so idk how much influence that had. My essay was very strong too! It won me a couple scholarships :) I would say if your GPA is bad, you have to do well at pretty much everything else! Softs, LSAT (mine wasn’t great), essay, Rec letters, etc.
