If you want to go to a T14, apply broadly and apply early. Consider getting some work experience, KJDs with good (but not perfect) numbers and little else tend to be prime waitlist candidates IMO. Put time into your PS. It’s the only piece of writing that you get to send to the admissions committees of some schools. It should provide a cohesive narrative about your background and experiences that ties into legal practice.

Wherever you go, make sure that you would be happy with the options available to a student with median or below-median grades. Law school is hard, and the nature of the curve makes it hard to predict where exactly you’ll end up by the end of 1L.
